ZoË OPDYKE

Zoë lives in Ridgewood, Queens, and attends High School at the Institute for Collaborative Education in NYC. She is one of 21 winners of the 2025 New York Public Library’s National Teen Art Contest, and has participated in several art programs, including painting murals with Groundswell's Community Mural Project and contributing to group exhibitions and showcasing her work at Cue Art Foundation and with Forest For Trees Collective on Governor's Island. She aspires to pursue a career in filmmaking with a particular interest in directing and production design. Her artistic practice to date has primarily encompassed drawing, painting, collage, and ceramics. Outside of the art world, she is a member of her school’s soccer team and the community service club. She enjoys cooking, baking, and occasionally playing music.
